A $50 ticket includes dinner; a copy of the book; and three hours to chat about the anthology, the craft and business of business of fiction writing, future AusLit projects, etc. Pick up some tips and learn first-hand about writing opportunities.
Apply to join a writing team (project running from May 1st to September 30th) – Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Central Coast (click here)
Each team member will write two 5,000-10,000 word stories as part of an integrated story collection for commercial publication as part of a writing team, over 5 months. Send two or more samples of your writing along with a little about your main fiction writing interests to firstname.lastname@example.org to apply to join a writing team in Sydney, Melbourne, the Gold Coast or the Central Coast (just north of Sydney) – nothing fancy required; all that is needed is an indication of what you’ve written and what kinds of stories you’d like to write. You don’t need to be perfect; you need to have potential to write good stories. Hone your writing skills, have fun and get your stories commercially published.
